North Jakarta PPSU Gears Up to Anticipate Inundation and Flooding

PPSU personnel are always on alert to anticipate inundation or flooding, including during the Idul Fitri holidays, including other personnel who work in Koja Sub-district, North Jakarta.

Every day, we have officers on duty or standby

Koja Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Head, Slamet Riyanto said PPSU personnel were on standby 24 hours.

"Every day, we have officers on duty or standby. They are stationed at the pump house, sub-district office, and command center for the North Jakarta SDA Sub-agency," he expressed, Monday (4/15).

He explained there were about 200 personnel alerted along Idul Fitri holidays, including ASN apparatus from the SDA Agency.

"Eight to ten personnel are alerted at each post. They work in alternating shifts and are on standby during the Idul Fitri holidays," he explained.

According to him, North Jakarta is an area close to the coastal area, so the deployment of officers is important to anticipate inundation or flooding.

"We ensure that people get the best service. We will run our duties as optimally as possible," he stressed.

He added the holiday allowance for ASN and PJLP had been set, thus there would be no vacancies in officers.

"Principally, we set it alternately, there is only a shift in time," he stated.
